Firefly Photonics, Inc has been awarded a small business innovation grant “High-Efficiency Midinfrared LEDs with High Brightness for High-Fidelity Infrared Scene Projection” by the United States Navy.
The Phase I objective of this grant is to develop midinfrared light emitting diodes (LEDs) to specifically enhance wall-plug efficiency and brightness of devices beyond the currently available technology in megapixel mid-infrared LED arrays.
